Sound sensations inspired artist, who dared to explore still mysterious field of sinesthesia.  The painting cycle is peculiar illustration of the musical world, of listening expirence of „air vibrations“ and encounters with musicians.

The title of the cycle is associated with a group of works of the most prominent figure of synesthetic research on painting, Vasilij Kandinski, in which the red felt the impression of strong drumming, and the soprano invoked the vision of a bright yellow color. Sinesthesia of visual and auditory experiences was dealt with in various ways by Rudolf Steiner and Theosophers Delacroix and Baudelaire, Skrjab, Charles Féré, Marinetti and Balla. In her work she tried to evoke not only the rhythm and tone but also the time-stretch of music.

“I used a dilute color that freely runs on the substrate and leaves its record, just as the music flows fluently” in the course of the performance. “In that sense, the trace of color is similar to the trace of music on the sound carrier.”

In her work, she has materialize compositions of diverse rhythms, dynamics and tones, and the protagonists of her improvisations are decomposed into luminous and flickering facets of color.
